Home & Garage Conversions in Fort Worth

Turn a garage, attic, or underused room into a bedroom, in-law suite, office, gym, or living area, permitted and built to code.

Home & Garage Conversions

Add living space inside the footprint you already have.

A conversion is often the most cost-effective way to add square footage. Done right, it means a raised and insulated floor, insulated walls and ceiling, a properly sized HVAC system, egress windows, and an exterior that no longer looks like a garage. Done wrong, it's a cold, damp room that hurts resale. We do it right.

Permits and inspections so the space counts as real living area.

Comfortable year-round

Plumbing added

Before you convert: Most cities require a permit for garage and attic conversions. Some require replacement off-street parking, and HOA deed restrictions may limit conversions. Converted space has to meet code for egress, insulation, and heating and cooling.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Still have questions? Call or text (682) 450-1621.

Do garage conversions need a permit?
Yes, in most cities. A permit and inspections make sure the space is safe, legal, and counted as living area when you sell.
Will I lose required parking?
Some cities require a set number of off-street parking spaces, and an HOA may restrict garage conversions. We check both for your address before you commit.
Can you add a bathroom to a converted garage?
Often, yes. It depends on where the sewer line runs and how the slab can be trenched. We evaluate that during the consultation.
How long does a garage conversion take?
Many conversions take a few weeks to a couple of months, depending on plumbing, HVAC, and finish selections.
